Earlier this year we spoke about the announcement of Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. Now we get the announcement from FUNimation that the newest sequel will be coming to theaters in North America in January 2011.

Cinema Asia Releasing is handling the theatrical features and the film is the second in a four part film series. Evangelion: 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance aired on Japanese Television.

There will be a DVD and Blu-ray release on 3/29/11 will be EVANGELION 2.22: YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE.

Evangelion 1.0: You are (Not) Alone is coming out on November 17! To celebrate that we have a synopsis of the upcoming movie as well as the first nine minutes to show you! It is a full length feature that they spoke about at Anime Expo this year. You don’t have to be already familiar with the series to enjoy it.
