New Moon album available now

Chris Weitz told us that he would make the soundtrack for New Moon available early due to fan demand. True to his word, the soundtrack is live on Amazon.com and iTunes. Amazon has it for really cheap at $4.99 for the mp3 version. While on iTunes it’s $14.99. The iTunes version does come with the Death Cab for Cutie video. I’m curious about your thoughts on the soundtrack. Ok-Go contributed a song and here are their thoughts: “It’s a really amazing set of bands. Get your avatar in the Halloween mood

Halloween is about two and a half weeks away, and while you may not dress up, if you want to spend the money you can dress up your avatar. Plus side, it’s probably cheaper than buying yourself a costume. Prices for avatar Halloween items range from 80 MS Points to 240. Items range from various themed hats to full costumers for witches, vampire, ghosts, mummy, and others. My guess is the vampire one might be popular just cause of New Moon alone. Twilight: New Moon soundtrack leaked

What the handsome young men have to do with this post is practically nothing. They are the wolves in New Moon and are so pretty too. Every once in awhile I have to add some beefcake to GA. New Moon news seems to be happening every day and will probably get only more intense as the movie gets closer. The screams were heard around the internet as the songs for Twilight: New Moon were listed on the British Amazon.com and fans were able to listen to 30 second snippets of each song. It doesn’t seem to be up now, so I think we lost our chance. But don’t fret Twilight fans. See Twilight in theaters before New Moon

Wish you could have the experience of Twilight on the big screen again? AMC has announced that they are bringing it back for one special showing. Twilight will be on the big screen at a discounted price at 9pm on Thursday November 19 before the 12:01 am showing of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”. That’s four hours of Robert Pattinson. The tickets start selling on October 9 so if you are really gung ho, you may want to get them now. I think I’ll stay far far away from the mass of pre-teens. Scream Awards to Feature New Moon Footage & Battlestar Galactica Reunion

Spike’s Scream Awards are coming up on October 27th, and this year’s two hour TV extravaganza will feature new footage for the second movie in the Twilight saga, New Moon, as well as a reunion with the cast from Battlestar Galactica and the cast and crew of  HBO’s True Blood. A special Scream Mastermind Award being presented to George Romero, the true genius of horror movies. As well, Tobey Maguire will be paying special tribute to comic legend Stan Lee. There are sixteen awards to be handed out to nominated film and TV franchises, with J.J. Abrams’ version of Star Trek leading the way. Until October 17th, fans are encouraged to login into the site and vote for their favourites. Twilight manga on the way!

Most Twilight fans can’t get enough of Edward and Bella’s story. Now there will be a new way to enjoy their story. Yen Press will be publishing Twilight in graphic-novel form. The publication date has not been announced, so we’ll be waiting to hear that announcement at San Diego Comic Con. EW got the exclusive of the picture and the information. Turns out that Meyer is heavily involved in the project and the project is not a mere drawn version of the movie. The artist is creating characters from the literary imagination instead. “The description of Edward from biology class: “His dazzling face was friendly; open, a slight smile on his flawless lips. But his eyes were cautious.” And Bella: “I was ivory-skinned …. Twilight cast starts filming ‘Eclipse’ on August 17

New Moon isn’t even out yet and the cast already knows when they get back to work. Eclipse will be shot at Vancouver Film Studios between August 17 and October 31. Yes, a Halloween wrap for a vampire movie. ComingSoon reports that David Slade will be directing and Melissa Rosenberg will be writing the script. We’ll hear plenty of news of New Moon at San Diego Comic Con. The release date for New Moon is November 20. Eclipse is set for a June 30,2010 release. That’s right, non-stop Robert Pattinson action.
