Ever thought you could make a better bus route? “Cities in Motion” lets you try

In 2011, Paradox’s transport-sim “Cities in Motion” lets you decide how public transportation is going to work. Those of us who have ever had to use public transportation have definitely had those thoughts that weren’t a lot more than, “If I ran this thing, it would always be on time.” Well, now you get the chance. It’s more than just Railroad Tycoon – it’s more like Bus Tycoon, Tram Tycoon, Helicopter Tycoon, Subway Tycoon….really, I could go on. There’s 100 years worth of transportation history in there, along with 12 campaigns that challenge you to keep a system going with no delays or cancellations and all the happy customers you can handle. Oh yeah, and you have to be profitable. It’s like balancing the Federal budget, but it goes vroom. You’ll be building across Europe in four eras between 1920 and 2020, making deals with contractors and following the economy.

If you manage to take someone down, you get a special “Kill the Fatshark” Steam achievement called “Feedback.” Not to mention complete worldwide fame. I may be exaggerating the latter of the two. But the achievement is extremely limited, given that it’s only available until the 18th. So get to shootin’! “The Fastest Gun on Steam” takes the highest scorer on the experience leaderboard and plasters them on the wall of the saloon in Sinners
