“Plants vs. Zombies” entering the Xbox LIVE Arcade arena
PopCap’s insanely popular casual title Plants vs. Zombies is headed to your Xbox. This fall, probably in early September, the game will become available in the Xbox LIVE Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points. The revamped version of the title will have seven game modes (including two multiplayer modes, Co-Op and Vs.), 12 Achievements and 21 mini-games. Other features include: 12 achievements and 21 mini-games – more than any other adaptation, and including the exclusive Heavy WeaponTM-inspired mini-game A goofy new way to track and share progress online, where players create their own custom house and cruise down the street to see their friends’ cribs! Buttery, Popping HD Zombies?
It has begun. The gaming floodgates have opened on the iPad and we lead off with one of our all time favorites, PopCap’s Plants vs. Zombies. Review: Hellemental for the iPhone/iPod Touch
In the style of Plants vs Zombies, Hellemental is a fun must buy strategy treasure. You play Elija, a wizard whose calling it is to protect towns in Norlisk from all sorts of monsters. The game has elements of RPG combined with a strategic adventure game. At the beginning and inbetween levels, players level up the wizard’s spells used to ward off the creatures. Rated: 4+ Genre: Strategy Publisher: Intersog Game Studios Release Date: February 3, 2010 BUY As you defend towns from waves of attacking monsters, you progress through the game and on to other towns. The levels are challenging and it helps to know which spells to upgrade for each monster. The levels were so challenging that I really worried when I wasn’t able to successfully defend a town. PopCap Releasing new Peggle Level Pack
So, PopCap had a big art contest for Peggle, and now that the winners have been decided, they’re sharing all the great art with us with a Free download of a new level pack. Available for PC and Mac exclusively at www.Popcap.com/extras/peggle/bonuslevels, the Peggle Nights “Art Contest” level pack features five all-new levels based on the top entries in the Peggle Art Contest held earlier this year.
