Online Game of the Week – Pudding Strike
Maybe this week’s OGOTW should be called Angry Pudding. Being someone without an iPhone or iPad, I have not been caught up in the Angry Birds craze, but after playing this game for a little while, I can see where the fascination comes from. In Pudding Strike, pile little blobs of various puddings into a slingshot and destroy the evil puddings (who actually look a little more like purple jello) who have tolen their princess. Power through jelly drops, chocolate, cookies, and nother various sweet delights to destroy the evil puddings! Enjoy!

Featured Facebook Game of the Week – Zombie Lane
Oh my, zombies just keep on coming in all shapes and forms. In Zombie Lane, the main objective is to fight zombies and keep them out of the neighborhood… which needs to be continually rebuilt from the damage they do. This game has a lot going on, which I thought initially would discourage me from returning to it, but the hints, easy start, and tutorial aspects help quite a bit without constantly interfering. I love the customizable avatar, for some reason, that is usually pretty important to me. There, of course, could be more clothing and such to choose from, but being able to have one that looks how I want her to look is aces. Fighting most of the zombies comes easy armed with just a shovel, allowing players to collect helpful items to rebuild their homes, craft stronger weapons, share with friends, and advance through the game. So

Featured Facebook Game of the Week – Where in the World is…
Carmen Sandiego? (I can hear Rockapella singing it now!) This is a game that I used to play on the computer when I worked in after school care with school age kids and watched on TV even before that. So when I saw it as a Facebook game, I felt that childlike excitement and couldn’t wait to get my mouse on it. The sentiment is the same, players take an active role as detectives hunting Carmen’s henchmen (and henchwomen) all over the world, testing and expanding geographical and cultural knowledge while putting deductive reasoning and perfect timing to the test putting clues together to get a warrant before actually finding the bad guy. Starting at the ACME headquarters in San Fransisco, players talk to witnesses in order to get information on either the identity of the henchperson or where they are headed next, get a warrant for the right one,

Online Game of the Week – Plumber Boy
This week’s OGOTW is dedicated to my plumber of a husband who’s birthday is on Monday. This one is a little variation on the classic pipes game. The object is to get all the steam pumps popping by using the pieces on the board to form a nice network. The positive here is that it seems as though there aren’t a lot of useless pieces to busy your mind and get in the way. Click to twist the pieces and advance when they all start pumping. Get ‘em all going before time runs out! Enjoy! .

Online Game of the Week – Square It
This is a game I used to play with my mother when I was a kid while we waited for our food at restaurants. I can’t believe it’s a flash game now, but here it is. The object is to score more squares than your opponent by filling in one line at a time. Simple enough, but there are bonuses and power ups that weren’t there on the back of the kids menu or paper napkin we used when I was a kid. Enjoy!

Online Game of the Week – We Are the Robots
This week’s OGOTW takes me back to Tetris days, not with shapes, just brilliantly colored robots. For me, it’s as addicting as tetris, and is a great stress busting match 3. Arrow key or mouse controlled, with two modes, this game has a lot to offer! Enjoy! . .
