Comic Con or bust
Yesterday was disastrous. I knew I wanted to leave early as to avoid all traffic on the way to San Diego. San Diego is about 2 hours from where I live, so it’s not that far of a drive. I left my place at 6am hoping to get here at 9am worst case scenario. HAHAHA I did not think of worst case scenario like I thought. My first appointment was at 11, so I thought I would be fine. At about 7:30am, I come to a slow down. I’m on the outside of San Diego. Turns out that a huge grocery big wheeler had gotten into an accident with a SUV. That was at 5am. All lanes were closed. VIZ Media will be checking Portfolios at Comic Con
I heard the rumors but they’re true. Lots of people have dreamed of writing for either Weekly Shonen Jump or Shoujo beat. Well I guess this isn’t a sure indication that they are letting people write for them but VIZ Media will be doing their first San Diego Comic-Con portfolio reviews on Sunday, July 27, from 2 to 4:30 in the Portfolio Review area in the Sails Pavilion. Reviewing portfolios will be Marc Weidenbaum, VP of Original Publishing, VIZ Media and Eric Searleman, Senior Editor, VIZ Media. Hey it’s a start. get those portfolios ready!
