Hello Kitty Three Apples Exhibit for 35th Anniversary

We’ve almost seen Hello Kitty on everything. The red bow wearing kitty has become a style icon and a favorite at many here at GamingAngels. This year is her 35th Anniversary and just one of the celebrations is the “Three Apples” exhibition that will celebrate all things Hello Kitty and feature collaborations from many top Comic-con artists and exhibitors. “Three Apples” will take place from October 23 to November 15 at Royal/T (www.royal-t.org) in Culver City, CA. We’ve covered Royal/T here at GA before. It’s the Japanese-inspired art space that also has a maid cafe. For this event, there will be works of art, Hello Kitty shaped food and ability to purchase limited edition products made just for this event. You know I’ll be going. Hello Kitty celebrates with Mimobot

Hello Kitty is turning 35 and Sanrio has announced that they are partnering with Mimoco to create Sanrio Characters into Mimobot designer flash drives. The drives will debut in early September with multiple Hello Kitty x Mimobot designs. “Our new partnership with Mimoco brings forth an exciting collection that infuses SANRIO characters with the fun, pop-art world of MIMOBOT” said Janet Hsu, President of Sanrio Global Consumer Products. “The launch collection celebrating Hello Kitty’s 35th Anniversary is sure to be a hit among our fans and MIMOBOT collectors.” This is an amazing partnership because many of us already love with Mimoco already has to offer. The Sanrio crossover will include Hello Kitty friends, Badtz-Maru, My Melody, Kuromi, Keroppi, Chococat, and TuxedoSam. The Mimobots will range from 2GB to 16GB. Hello Kitty Online accepting signups for closed beta

I think we got at least two weeks and then I have to post something Hello Kitty related. Even the staff is on the look out for HK information now! This week we have a new trailer for Hello Kitty Online the first MMORPG in the Sanrio universe. HKO is also taking signups for their closed beta at http://www.hellokittyonline.com/us. I’ll be trying it out, so let me know if you get into the closed beta as well! HKO is a free-to-play PC game where players can interact with Hello Kitty characters and customize their character. Some Hello Kitty updates

Yes, I’m a Hello Kitty addict. I want to visit Hello Kitty land and fly the Hello Kitty airlines before I die. I own various Hello Kitty stuff both from Japan and from Sanrio. I just bought two pairs of HK shorts for the summer (totally cute and on sale btw at Mervyns). So I can never get enough news about what is going on in the world of my favorite non-mouthed cat.
