A Chat With Tweet Defense Producer – Promethium’s Chris Paladino

There is a new zombie threat on the horizon headed to an iPhone near you. Tweet Defense is a unique tower defense game that utilizes (but doesn’t require) your Twitter account to boost gameplay. We had an opportunity to toss a few questions over to the team at Promethium that put it all together and learned more about how the game works with Twitter, zombie obsessions, and where the company is headed. Enjoy! GA: Firstly, tell us a little bit about Promethium. CP: Promethium is a marketing company formed by ex-Microsofters Tony Hynes, Nelson Rodriguez and Chris Paladino. We also were lucky enough to steal Jay Van Beveren from his job bringing the company to 4. We have lots of experience building communities around brands; finding those passionate fans and giving them the information they need to thrive. We’ve been fortunate to be able to work with some of the

Have you heard the Buzz? Google Buzz that is!

Oh Google.  Are we feeling left out of the social networking buzz? Wish you could be a little bit more like Twitter and Facebook? Well, your day has come! If you haven’t heard yet, Google Inc. has developed a new feature which will let users of Gmail, view status updates and media from their online counterparts.  Labeled as “Google Buzz”, a tab will appear in the Gmail application where users can add media, links, photo, status updates, and of course, the @ messages for others to view. One of the pros of the Buzz is the fact that you don’t have to go through the whole adding process which was a time consuming on Twitter and Facebook. Instead, if you are linked to others via Gmail,  then BAM! you are already friends.  Of course, the true question is if Google Buzz can hold its own with such social giants as Twitter and

Day 4: Heavy Rain “Four Days Challenge” Investigation

Previous: Day 1 “Four Days Challenge” Investigation Previous: Day 2 & 3 “Four Days Challenge” Investigation 9:00 PM 02.01.10 Day 4 Hello again, journal. Pretty sure I’m still not qualified to be a detective. Before I present you with your daily dose of psychobabble, I should probably mention I was right. It was “Aaah For Love.” PicXaminer.com sent me the results of my picture a few days ago. I can’t even look at it. It sends shivers down my spine and up again. Mr. or Ms. “@PerfectFolds” has been unusually quiet as of late. These past four days have been nothing but head games. All of his incomprehensible ramblings bring me another miniscule step closer to him/her. To “think like a killer” isn’t all that hard, is it? I mean, all humanity has are puny limitations. Oh no, “don’t do this, don’t do that,” but what if we just didn’t

On the red carpet at Women’s Conference

This year at the Women’s Conference we weren’t just watching panels, we were on the red carpet. We interviewed some amazing men and women and now I finally have time to share it with you. Enjoy! Early in the morning we started with Sir. Richard Branson. Here is what he had to say: How did your Perfect Pitch event go and was there any business that really wowed you? Yes, there was one incredible inventor of fingers. My mother has actually lost three or four fingers and he’s managed to come up with fingers that really work. Ninety percent of all limb loses are fingers so that was the one I voted for. But there were other wonderful ones. It was a tremendous event. The tech world doesn’t have many women in it. What advice do you have to change that?I’m not very techie myself, but I suspect that if
