Sony announces open casting call for “The Tester”

There’s a reality show for everything, or so I thought. Sony Computer Entertainment America announced a casting call for their new competitive reality series, “The Tester”. The series will be shown exclusively on Playstation Network for the PS3. The show will follow a group of gamers as they face off to win a job as an official Playstation game tester. To enter, gamers have to submit an online form and a short video at http://www.us.playstation.com/psn/thetester explaining why they have to be part of the Playstation family. The show will run 8 episodes and the winner will get a contract position in the Quality Assurance department in San Diego, CA. While this may seem weird to some of us, many gamers really do want to be game testers. It’s pretty smart of Sony to leverage that into a show that is exclusive to their network when they probably needed to hire
