The new 3DS will be produced as part of a special edition package for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D.

More information, including pricing (and, I suppose, whether or not this stylish little guy will ever make it to other territories) is coming January 20.

Just when you thought Sony was done releasing special-edition PSP systems, they sent out a press release today announcing a “Spirited Green” PSP, bundled with Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, a downloadable movie voucher, and a 2GB Memory Stick Pro. All of this for $199. Quite the deal.

Unfortunately, this also comes bundled with news that the release (out for PSP and PSP go) will be moved a couple of weeks from May 25 to June 8.

The world has been filled with man great teams or team ups. I mean look at any great comic crossover, or artist combination and you know you have gold.

This if no different for Shuttle and the Clash of the Titans. Shuttle has partnered with the upcoming “Blockbuster” to promote their launch of their new PC series of entertainment focused PC’s. What the company has done is that in promoting their new J Series desktops and X50 V2 all-in-one PCs is that they are having a giveaway. Of course, we all know how much people love giveaways.

The giveaway will include a limited-edition PC will be wrapped in a “Clash of the Titans” theme and come pre-loaded with exclusive “Clash of the Titans” content, including wallpaper and images from the film.  In the press release Nicole Sedita, Warner Bros. Vice President of National Promotions states.

Users of these popular social networking games can purchase special limited-edition social goods, where 100% of the proceeds will go to the World Food Programme, which is currently distributing food and other forms of relief to those displaced and injured as a result of this week’s earthquake.

So far, over $1.2 million has been raised in support of these efforts. The limited-edition goods include white corn that will not wither if left unattended for a week (FarmVille) and a Haitian drum (Mafia Wars). Zynga has also set up their own donation portal at Zynga.com, where users can donate directly to the WFP (best option, in my opinion).

2K Games have finally announced the details to the Special Edition for Bioshock 2. First thing you’ll notice is just how awesome it is and that you are going to need a record player.

The Special Edition will come in 13″x13″ premium packaging with special art on both the slipcase and the box cover. On the inside will be three posters featuring vintage ads from Rupture, a vinyl 180gLP featuring the orchestral score from the original Bioshock, a CD containing Bioshock 2 score, a 164 page 8×11″ hardbound artbook, and a copy of Bioshock 2.

The Special Edition can be pre-ordered now for the February 9th, 2010 release. The price is $99.99 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 version and $89.99 for the Games for Windows Live version. There will only be one production run which means it’s a good chance that they’ll run out.
