    Wallace & Gromit: Fright of the Bumblebees Review

    Everyone’s favourite claymation duo returns to consoles and the PC thanks to TellTale Games. They have released Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures, a series of four episodic point and click tales. The first of these is Fright of the Bumblebees, in which Wallace’s contraptions have once again caused him a bit of trouble. The bills have been piling up, but Wallace has a new business plan that is going to change all that. His latest scheme revolves around the beehive in his basement. Together with Gromit, he plans on getting into the honey business. But when orders start coming in and they can’t keep up with production, and Wallace has a wonderful brainstorm. He decides to mix up a batch of growth serum to “enhance” the flowers the bees pollinate, leading to disastrous results.     Review – Tales from Monkey Island: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal

    Why yes, that is a really long title for a game.  But, you wouldn’t expect anything different from a Monkey Island game would you? No, I didn’t think so. Launch of the Screaming Narwhal is the first of five new episodic adventures in the Monkey Island series released by TellTale Games.     Tales of Monkey Island trailer

    Tales of Monkey Island is launching Tuesday for the PC with the first episode of the series, “Launch of the Screaming Narwhal”. This series is the first of five monthly episodes. TellTale sent us the attached video of the gameplay from the first episode. The new series of Tales of Monkey Island is Guybrush Threepwood’s first new game in a decade. Look for it on July 7th.

    Wallace & Gromit coming to Xbox Live this week

    Monday is a holiday for the working, so Major Nelson listed what games will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade this week. TellTale Games’ Wallace & Gromit will be available Wednesday for 800 MS points. Fright of the Bumblebees is the episode that is being released. Also coming to XBLA is Yosumin Live from Square Enix and Boogle from Hasbro Family Games for 800 MS Points each.
