    CD Projekt RED releases new teaser trailer for ‘The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition’

    It’s not that often that we get to see a teaser trailer for something that’s technically already out, but when it’s a teaser for The Witcher 2‘s Xbox 360 Enhanced Edition…well, I suppose we can make a pass.     Xbox 360 version of ‘The Witcher 2’ delayed to 2012

    CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 2: The Assassins of Kings is coming to Xbox 360…but it’s coming a little later than planned. The game will now make it to shelves in the first quarter of 2012, instead. This move allows CD Projekt RED to spend more time porting the game, but it also gives Namco Bandai Partners additional time to resolve legal disputes related to the game’s European, South American and Asian distribution. “We have decided not to withhold information and to tell our fans immediately of the Xbox 360 launch moving to Q1 2012,” said Adam Kicinski, President of CD Projekt RED. “As we have stated many times before, The Witcher 2 for Xbox 360 will be an adaptation and not regular port.     News from CDP Summer Days — including ‘The Witcher 2’ for Xbox 360 and more EA titles coming to GOG

    We’ll go ahead and get this out of the way now — CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is coming to the Xbox 360 by the end of the year, according to a live broadcast at the CDP event. However, if your PC is already swagtastic enough to handle the original PC version, there’s good news for you in there as well: Patch 1.2 is on its way, featuring over 50 improvements such as correcting balance issues, adding the ability to completely customize your keybinds, fixing the targeting and improving the all-important Witcher 1 save import system — along with whatever the other 40-something changes are. Not only that, but as an E3 promotion, they’re slashing the price by $10. It’ll make it easier to get that souped-up video card, at the very least.
