    Meet ‘BioShock Infinite”s Motorized Patriot

Irrational Games has released the first of its “Heavy Hitters” enemy introduction series of videos. In this video, you’ll meet one of the first of the antagonists you’ll find in the floating city of Columbia, the “Motorized Patriot.” It is…pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Take a look in the video below. Follow

Take a look at the latest ‘Skyrim’ gameplay

Straight from Comic-Con (and E3, apparently), we’ve got video of the fifth Elder Scrolls title, Skyrim. There are lots of dragons, and some of them seem to have an affinity for eating people. Very unfortunate for the people in question. We also see a little bit of combat and conversations with people. Not too shabby, I think. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim releases 11/11/11. Follow

Cookie Monster is clearly unimpressed by zombies

Before you can make a new game, you’ve usually got to make a pitch to people (unless they force you into it, but that’s another thing entirely). Tim Schafer is no different. Except, perhaps, for the “people” part. Tim Schafer…had to pitch his Once Upon a Monster…to Cookie Monster. Cookie Monster is clearly very “meh” about zombies. Check out the cuteness below. Follow

15 minutes of ‘BioShock Infinite’ gameplay explains all the E3 love

The following video is what was shown of Irrational Games’ BioShock Infinite during E3. If anything, this definitely explains exactly why so many people were quick to lavish praise on the title. Don’t worry, you’ll get it, too. Here, we see a little bit of revisionist history (in that all of a sudden Booker and Elizabeth are in the 1980s), the fine art of bringing a horse back to life, and exactly what those “tears” are all about. We also see more skyline usage, and if this comes anywhere close to what the actual game will be like (I know, it says this was created using in-game footage, but I’ll be seriously amazed if you’re able to flip around the entirety of Columbia as Booker does), my jaw can just live on the floor the entire time I play. Once again…it needs to be 2012. Follow

‘L.A. Noire’ featurette on ‘Rising Through the Ranks’

So you may know that as L.A. Noire’s main character, Cole Phelps, you’ll be solving an awful lot of police cases. You might even know that you’ll have a colleague with you on each mission. What you might not know is that the colleague will correspond to your current department, whether that be arson, vice, or even traffic. Here’s a video about the missions you’ll take in each department as well as the random cases you can take. L.A. Noire releases May 17 on PS3 and 360. Follow

Welcome villainess Katherine Marlowe to “Uncharted 3” with this official cinematic

Gamers, meet Katherine Marlowe. Not only does she kind of look like Dame Helen Mirren, but she’s also going to be your main adversary in Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 3, due out later this year (on 11-1-11). According to a post on PlayStation.Blog this morning that detailed information that was embargoed during GDC, “Katherine Marlowe is the coldly calculating leader of a secret society whose roots date back over four hundred years to the court of Queen Elizabeth I. She has a long-standing rivalry with Nathan Drake over Sir Francis Drake’s ring – something they both contend is rightfully theirs and is also the key to an ancient mystery.” I guess it’s not that stereotypical for a woman to be wanting jewelry in this case, right? It’s all about heirlooms and mysteries, which I suppose makes this at least a little bit different. In any case, she and her goons are

Take a look at the “Medal of Honor” Experience

The latest video showing off what you’ll have in less than a month (since the release date is Oct. 12 and all that) takes a very specific look at multiplayer in Kandahar Marketplace. You’re working with an objective in mind this time, in an environment with the same sort of lush feel as marketplaces in Uncharted 2. Are you looking forward to the MoH reboot? Watch the first ten minutes of “Bioshock Infinite”

This is footage you can download on your Xbox 360, but it looks so amazing, it just had to go here. This, my friends, is the first ten minutes of Bioshock Infinite. Your first few moments in the world of Columbia are rocky ones, but before long you’re armed and dangerous, with Elizabeth by your side. A few recognizable plasmids show up in this game already, with a couple of creative mixes shown here. I shudder to think what gamers will be able to come up with when they actually have the whole game in their hands (and I mean that in the best, most loving of ways). Let us all lament that this game isn’t out until 2012. I may shed a tear. But first, the video: Follow
