    Warner Bros. announces The Bachelor and The Bachelorette games

    Warner Bros. Interactive announced a deal to create and distribute games based on reality tv shows The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. The video game will launch after the end of The Bachelor’s 14th season in 2010. Fourteenth season, really? I blame you America! “The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are first-rate licenses in reality TV’s dating genre, which is a hugely popular category with television viewers,” said Alex Thabet, Ludia’s founder and CEO. “We see great potential for the segment within the context of video games, and look forward to our collaboration with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to deliver a true-to-show game experience on a wide variety of platforms.” This would be a good opportunity for Warner to use more of the traditional Japanese dating sim style and introduce new players to this genre, but they probably won’t.

    Warner Bros. Announces new Motion Comics on iTunes

    Warner Premiere and Warner Bros. Digital Distribution today announced three new additions to the best-selling Warner Premiere Motion Comics slate. Now you can find: the classic graphic novels Superman: Red Son and Batgirl: Year One, as well as graphic album Batman: Black and White Collection 2 on the iTunes Store (www.itunes.com). “Last year we debuted our Motion Comics slate and saw the voracious appetite graphic novel fans had for this digital content,” said Diane Nelson, president, Warner Premiere. “One of the reasons for our success is Warner Premiere working closely with DC Comics to determine if a story naturally lends itself to becoming a motion comic. Another key is the process we use to select the studios that ultimately create these motion comics.     Warner Bros Interactive & MTV Games release first trailer for LEGO Rock Band

    Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and MTV Games has released the FIRST trailer for LEGO(r) Rock Band. In the trailer, you’ll see rockers from the LEGO universe jamming, singing, playing drums, and strumming their guitars to the chart topping song “So What” by Pink. LEGO Rock Band will be featured in the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment booth at E3 this week, June 2nd – 4th, in the South Hall #2047.
