Nintendo offerings at E3
This years E3 saw Nintendo pull out some pretty impressive promises for what we will see gracing our consoles. Apart from the games that they and their 3rd party friends are bringing out, we saw the Wii Motion Plus unveiled and a new device called Wii Vitality Sensor. And the DSi also gave fans another reason to use Facebook! Nintendo have promised that the Wii Motion Plus will give you a more realistic physical sense while playing. It can also sense where and how you are holding your WiiMote, and complements many 3rd party releases. Sounds pretty cool to me! They also say that the Wii Vitality Sensor (pictured below) expands the appeal of video games. It takes note of your pulse rate and any other signals your body is giving out, and lets you know what’s going on inside. Mr Iwata introduces us to the Wii Vitality Sensor device

Wii-mote gets an attachment that makes it more sensitive
Nintendo has released an attachment for your Wii-mote that will make it more sensitive. The new Wii MotionPlus accessory will be in stores on June 8 and should help with precision and performance. Nintendo is also launching Wii Sports Resort on July 26 to show how the Wii MotionPlus adds to the game. If you purchase Wii Sports Resort you get a single Wii MotionPlus accessory. The press release does mention that when it’s used with specially designed games, Wii MotionPlus tracks your movement in finer detail. Which may mean that the Wii MotionPlus will not automatically make a difference with older games. “Wii MotionPlus represents a new evolution in video game control.
