Well next month State of Azeroth will be on a bit of a break since I will be out of the country [...]

Well next month State of Azeroth will be on a bit of a break since I will be out of the country for approximately two weeks. Since I’ll be out of commission for a bit next month’s column will be smaller but should pack some fun bits for you all.

In the mean time what have your plans been so far pre-expansion? Gearing up for Blizzcon yet?

News

General
In good news for WoW fans in China, it seems like Wrath of the Lich King has finally been approved by the censors and is set to be released! A lot of the issues had to do with the amount of skulls and decaying undead in the game, so Blizzard has phased out a lot of that as well as turning the blood splashes from red to green for the release in China. Interested to see what it looks like? Well a news site called 178ChinaGame has some screen shots comparing the China release vs. the regular game. You can see all of the comparisons here. It’s intriguing to see how much had to change and in some instances what the original was changed into (like the patched together body on the table becoming a straw man).

Cataclysm Beta

As I mentioned above I’ve been playing more of the beta. Besides enjoying flying around the old world (which is seriously awesome) I’ve lately been doing all of the underwater Vasj’ir quests. How you get down there in the first place is pretty cool and the mechanics of how you’re able to survive underwater is pretty much explained right off the bat. I will say that fighting creatures underwater is a bit of a tricky situation sometimes because it feels like their aggro range is larger than it should be. And I’m also still getting used to the hunter changes in Cataclysm. I’m still not sure if I will like Focus or not. To be fair a little thing called StarCraft II did pull me away from the beta for a bit, so I need to go and fully check out what’s out now in the latest patch.

Speaking of patches, there has been several updates to the beta. The UI has been changed up a bit and it’s for the better. I think my favorite so far is being able to see the percentage values for hitting targets above my level. It’s a heck of a lot easier than going to sites to figure out what I need to stack or what number I need to get up to. Mounts also have their own tab, and the Glyph UI has been updated so you can now access glyphs you’ve learned already. Guild XP and level bonuses are also up and running so I’ve seen a lot more opening up and advertising for new members. I also enjoy the new Battleground interface which now displays the time between territorial battlegrounds like Wintergrasp and Tol Barad.

We also have some more fun things like Music and new loading screens out. The loading screens feature the leaders of the Alliance and Horde forces, as well as new screens for both Outland and Northrend. I think my favorite has to be the new Northrend loading screen. It just strikes me as a poignant piece of art. DominikaSents has a whole YouTube channel devoted to the new music that I highly recommend checking out! If you don’t want to listen through everything, you can skip right to the Login screen music. It has some great nods to some of the others that we know. The initial beginning doesn’t impress me but I admit that it does pick up speed and I began to like it more as it went on. There are some interesting parts that really made me think of God of War (mainly when the vocals kicked in during the heavy parts). All in all listening through the channel made me very excited to lay my hands on the soundtrack that will inevitably be in the collectors edition I plan on getting.

The guild vendor is now also up and you can go and check out all of the neat things he has for sale. There are some pets, recipes, heirloom gear, a faction specific ground mount and that fancy dark phoenix mount that I’ve been lusting after since I saw the model on MMO-Champion. Also a new model for Thrall has appeared and I’m not impressed. True he has new clothing, but it just doesn’t suit Thrall in my mind. And the massive necklace he has on reminds me of what the Monk from Diablo 3 wears. Again does not suit Thrall no matter what role he has stepped into. There is also a new model for Malfurion, and yet again it does not impress me. He looks like the offspring after a Nigh Elf mated with a Boomkin. Really?! This is how you wanted to re-design Malfurion Blizzard? I’m disappointed. At least Ysera looks good.

Thoughts on Blizzcon 2010

Well Blizzcon 2010 is approaching at a steady pace and I’m sure for those going many plans are being made. I’m also wondering several things about it myself. Like what will be the big announcement this year? Will there be any? Last year seemed like such a big event with the announcement of Cataclysm, the new Diablo 3 class and more StarCraft 2. Will we get to maybe finally play the female Worgen at Blizzcon ’10? Maybe check out some SC2: Heart of the Swarm? And who could top Ozzy as a musical performer?

Music wise I bet it may just be L80ETC (or do they prefer L800ETC?). But I do still wonder what will be said at the keynote. I’m sure the panels will be interesting and will talk about the myriad of changes that has happened since last year. Other than that my guess is that this year will be a bit more low key. I do hope that we get release dates for Cataclysm, Diablo III and Heart of the Swarm.

Comic Relief

I have a particularly fun piece that someone linked to on Twitter. Last year in the Armed Forces Journal Captain Robert M. Chamberlain wrote a piece entitled “Let’s Do This! Leeroy Jenkins and the American Way of Advising.” By now most if not all should know the infamous “All right chums, let’s do this! LEEROY JENKINS!!” But if you don’t the classic video is up on YouTube. But what is the link between Leeroy charging in and wiping the group he’s in and the US Army? Well according to Capt. Chamberlain, Leeroy’s charge is similar to how US forces in Iraq used to act. They changed their strategy to more thought out plans, but Chamberlain now feels that the Army is heading back to that Leeroy charge when it comes to advising Iraqi forces who are in the process of taking over where the US has left off.

It honestly worries me that someone within the army is comparing the strategy to that of Leeroy Jenkins. Being that this is real life and that many lives are affected by decisions overseas I would have hoped that the decisions weren’t as brash as those of someone playing an online video game. I wonder what the real Leeroy thinks of this. Well… at least he has his chicken.

Welcome one and all to the first of a series of monthly articles about what has been going on in the World [...]

Welcome one and all to the first of a series of monthly articles about what has been going on in the World of Warcraft. I thought that doing a monthly column would be a great idea to make sure that not only breaking news is posted to Gaming Angels, but that some of the smaller news and even updates and opinions sent in by you readers can be shared with everyone! But enough of my rambling, on to the content!

Patch 3.3

Before the holidays, we were treated with the final big patch to Wrath of the Lich King, Patch 3.3, that allowed us into Icecrown Citadel so that we can finally get our hands on Arthas. This patch was highly anticipated and so far seems to have delivered with regards to the major points. I thoroughly enjoy the three new 5-man dungeons that you can battle through. I think that it was a neat idea to have these dungeons that not only expand on the story, but they also drop some fairly decent loot. I think my favorite of the three is Halls of Reflection, even though it can be a pain to get past Falric and Marwyn without an experienced group and good strategy. Now I’ve only experienced this as Alliance and fighting with Jaina, but from what I’ve heard battling with Sylvanas is also quite the treat. Though I can’t forgive Blizzard for changing her voice. I really hate the new voice.

And of course there are the new 10 and 25 man Icecrown Citadel raid instances. Blizzard is rolling out this final raid section by section with only The Lower Spire and Plagueworks available for players to fight through. There is also the big gunship battle that you participate in where you have to fight against the opposite faction to reach the top of Icecrown citadel before the other faction does. As someone who’s more of a casual player I’m unfortunately not up on my gear as I should be to make it to ICC, however I’m working hard on it and should be able to make it eventually! I’ll probably be happier to wait because then I can play more wings of the citadel instead of waiting for the next ones to be unlocked.

There is also a new faction that players can earn rep with that rewards players with new recipes and rings. The Ashen Verdict was created with an agreement between Tirion Fordring and Darion Mograine where the Argent Crusade and the Knights of the Ebon Blade have set aside their differences during the attack on Icecrown Citadel until the Lich King is defeated. Players can earn rep with them by killing trash mobs and bosses in the citadel. MMOChampion has a great listing of all of the reputation rewards here!

The other new thing that is probably my favorite is the Dungeon Finder system. Not only can you queue your level 80 characters to run heroics and raids, but even your lower level characters can queue up for low level dungeons. Running your first random heroic of the day will net you two Emblems of Frost and some gold. After that you receive Emblems of Triumph. For running a random pre-Wrath dungeon you will receive a spoils bag that will include level-appropriate rewards. Running either of the daily random dungeons is a great way to get some good loot, save up for tier gear and even pass the time while farming materials or reputation. I tend to wait in the queue for DPS and work on my Wintersaber reputation. And for my low level mage the dungeons are a great way to get a good amount of XP and level up!

As always, the latest patch notes can be found here.

In the News

There have been a couple of interesting news items in the past month or so that have caught my attention. The first one being Blizzard helping cops track down a drug dealer via WoW. Police in Howard County, Indiana were on the hunt for Alfred Hightower, a suspected drug dealer who had a warrant for his arrest out since 2007. In their investigation, the police discovered that Hightower played WoW (or as they were initially told “some warlock and witches’ game”). When petitioned, Blizzard did get back to the police with information that included Hightower’s IP address, account information and history, billing address and online screen name and preferred server. Penny Arcade even did a great comic regarding the incident.

Another news story that popped up and had me laughing was regarding a man who was told by his wife that it was his Orc statue or him. Now as discovered by one of the members of Fark.com this wasn’t just any orc, this is Thrall from Warcraft III who is also unfortunately out of stock for those interested. So Robert Cushnie was forced to give away Thrall to someone else. “She said there wasn’t any room for him in our life. I’ve had him for six years but Dee means more to me, so he had to go.”At least it looks like he went to a good home.

In-Game Action

It was noticed in the past month that there have been some strange earthquakes rocking the major faction cities. This led to some remembering mobs from the PTR that were seen called Shakers. In the live game now they’re of course invisible, but they are most likely the harbingers of Deathwing coming back to Azeroth. Blue poster Wryxian was seen commenting on posts in the forums with cryptic answers my favorite being the following:

It was just you. Seriously, earthquakes leading up to some kind of cataclysm? I lol’d.

*the earth shakes a bit* o.O

Now it’s always good to try and not read too far in-between the lines with blue posts, but I think that this probably the beginnings of the pre-Cataclysm events since Blizzard isn’t denying what’s going on. The one funny aspect is that these quakes also happen in Dalaran, as yanno, floating cities high up in the sky can feel such things.

In breaking rumor news, WoW.com posted that their sources have said that the Friends and Family alpha for Cataclysm will begin on January 12th. This news came about when the wowleak Twitter account posted the image of a Cataclysm disc to their feed, which has since been said to be a fake. WoW.com is still sticking to the story that the alpha will occur on the 12th.

Patch notes can be found here, and if you haven’t started your downloader yet, you may want to! Mirrors for both PC and Mac users are already up for (hopefully) faster patch downloads.

Not much else is available at the moment, and I have not seen the official trailer for the patch out yet. Once I do I will update this post with it!

While you’re waiting for the patch to download, you can check out my post from yesterday here, read up on the essential lore for patch 3.3 at wow.com here. Also during the downtime make sure to check if all of your addons are up to date. You can always do a quick update if you use the Curse client, or you can just double check on the site. And make sure that any user interfaces that you use are compatible.

And for those of us who are stuck at work unable to start setting up for the final patch of WotLK, I feel you as I alas won’t be able to begin the fun until later tonight. My hopes are that there isn’t much lag (or queue to get on!) and downloading from the mirrors will go a lot quicker.

[Update 2:20pm EST] Maintenance has been extended by 1hr (source)

[Update 3:23pm EST] According to WoW.com, realms are still down and the forums seem to be iffy on being up.

[Update 3:25pm EST] @Warcraft says that they are “In the final stages of resolving the issues. We will provide another update in about 1 hour.” So another hour of downtime!

[Update 4:00pm EST] Seems like realms are coming up now! Also check out this great comic from Ctrl+Alt+Del about patch day (warning: some adult humor)

[Update 4:30pm EST] According to WoW.com, some characters are receiving corehound pups and some users reporting being stuck at the loading screen. The @Warcraft twitter account said that realms would be playable within the hour so they’re still working out some kinks. Oh and I really hope all characters are getting that corehound pet! He’s really cute looking. Anybody having issues logging in or have you received the pet?

[Update 4:47pm EST] Blizzard confirms that the corehound pet is for authenticator users. This goes for mobile or physical authenticator users. So enjoy your new pets!

[Update 5:41pm EST] According to the Warcraft twitter account they are still investigating the Battle.net authenticator system and preventing log in. Another update in an hour.

[Update 5:55pm EST] The patch 3.3 trailer is now available! You can watch it on the official site here, as well as download a snazzy wallpaper.

[Update 7:53pm EST] Well according to the latest updates on WoW.com it seems as if after some time with the realms, site, forums and store down that some realms appear to possibly be coming back online. I haven’t had a chance to check for myself yet (been afk on the subway). Also according to the Warcraft twitter account about an hour ago they said that work was continuing and that we would have more news in an hour. So hopefully we will either hear some news soon when realms will be working again!

[Update 8:06pm EST] Well my realm (Stormscale) seems to be online albeit pretty laggy. This is probably a good sign!

Today we celebrate five years of World of Warcraft. WoW first came onto the scene during a time when MMO players were the hardcore gamers, but Blizzard developed a game that would bring in the more casual player along with the hardcore. Since Nov 23, 2004 there have been many patches, raid bosses, gear, dailies and faction grinds and WoW is just as popular as ever.

Granted I started playing during the Burning Crusade expansion, my guildmates who have been around since the beginning have told me about the “old days” and what it was like trying to do one of the 40-man raids. How much different leveling was back then, and how “kids these days have it easy!” I was interested in it back when it first came out, but after hearing about that $15/month subscription and how much time had to be put into the game, well my broke college student self just couldn’t afford it.

But I eventually was convinced to try it out, fell in love with it, and have been playing now for almost two years. And even in that time a lot has changed. You couldn’t get mounts until 40 for example, and it cost somewhere around 30+ gold to learn the ability and buy a mount. Now you can train at 20 for your first mount and it’s a paltry sum to do so. There are also shiny achievements that you can earn right off the bat. And Wrath of the Lich King has added in a cool new area and interesting storylines to the lore.

Very old official interface

It’s also just fun to see how things have changed look wise, from the character models to the user interfaces. Addons, which were for the most part nonexistent in the beginning now flourish, and raiding guilds require certain ones in order for you to run with them.

WoW has definitely made an imprint in pop culture, both positive and negative. And they’ve even received the honor of being mocked in an entire South Park episode. Now with their commercials featuring Mr. T, Ozzy and William Shatner they’re reaching out to more people and the world of Azeroth continues to grow.

Now we have the Cataclysm expansion to look forward to which will completely change Azeroth as we know it. Enhancing the game, changing the environment and creating new quests, this is an example of the kinds of things Blizzard is doing to keep things fresh and new for players.

So congrats to Blizzard for making it five years with World of Warcraft! And for you players, what are your fondest memories from WoW over the past five years? Do you have a character who is that old? Are you also a member of the group who started way back when and want these kids to know how you had to walk both ways, through the snow uphill both ways in Dun Morogh to get where you had to go? Share your memories in the comments below!

As a follow up to the details released regarding the Frozen Halls coming in patch 3.3, Blizzard has now released information about the final raid instance in Icecrown. And I have to say I am intrigued about the instance and dreading gearing up for this fight. There’s going to be 12 different bosses, an epic battle to get to the top of Icecrown (as we were previously told at Blizzcon), and the end fight with Arthas to look forward to. Below is the detailed information from Blizzard:

This dungeon reveals the culminating story events and battles of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack. Join the legendary heroes Highlord Tirion Fordring, High Overlord Saurfang, Muradin Bronzebeard, Highlord Darion Mograine, and King Varian Wrynn in an epic battle against the Scourge and their master. Icecrown Citadel features 10- and 25-player versions of the raid dungeon, and each version has 12 encounters. Each encounter can be fought in either normal or Heroic mode, and players can use a new user interface feature to toggle easily between difficulties. The rewards in the raid dungeon start at item level 251 in the normal mode with 10-player encounters, increase to item level 264 in the Heroic mode mode with 10 players and the normal mode with 25-player encounters, and then finally reach item level 277 in the Heroic mode with 25 players.

Grand Entrance of the Citadel
After breaching the fortress, players will face a legion of undead guards directed to repel any invaders. Commanding the defenders is Lord Marrowgar, a monstrosity fused together from the bones of the undead. Supreme Overseer of the Cult of the Damned, Lady Deathwhisper is the next opponent. She bolsters the faith of her followers by promising them the opportunity to give eternal service in undeath.

As they continue their ascent, the Alliance and Horde heroes ultimately end up outside of the citadel where their hatred for one another erupts into a battle for dominance over the Rampart of Skulls. Players will join in battle alongside High Overlord Saurfang on the Orgrim’s Hammer gunship or Muradin Bronzebeard on The Skybreaker in a unique encounter. Each faction will protect its gunship and try to destroy the other one in a back-and-forth battle to see who is truly worthy of facing the Lich King.

The Lich King’s most powerful death knight then stands as the final obstacle for the heroes to enter the upper reaches of the citadel.

The Wings of Icecrown Citadel
After the heroes of the Alliance or Horde defeat the other faction on the gunships and wipe out the creatures near the entrance, players will venture into an area with three separate wings. Here they will face a multitude of terrors that must be vanquished in order to confront the Lich King.

In the Frostwing Halls players will battle alongside the Ashen Verdict and push into the lair of the deadly frost wyrm Sindragosa, who continues to strengthen her brood with the help of Ymirheim’s vrykul. Along the way, the heroes will stumble upon Valithria Dreamwalker, a captured green dragon whom the Scourge is using as a test subject for their own ends….

The Plagueworks contains the most twisted experiments ever produced by the Scourge. In this wing players will face two new forms of abomination in Festergut and Rotface, who currently protect their devious creator, Professor Putricide.

The Crimson Hall contains the leaders of the San’layn, undead blood elves who oversee the Scourge’s operations throughout Azeroth. The blood-princes Valanar, Keleseth, and Taldaram were raised into undeath by the Lich King to avenge themselves while protecting their blood-queen, Lana’thel.

The Frozen Throne
After clearing all three wings, players will ascend to the Frozen Throne, where the Lich King and his runeblade, Frostmourne, await to deliver them to their deaths….

Now we just have to wait to hear more about this final fight with Arthas. Lore wise I’m interested to see how things play out at the end.

More exciting news for World of Warcraft fans today as Blizzard has released some details regarding our final battles against the Lich [...]

More exciting news for World of Warcraft fans today as Blizzard has released some details regarding our final battles against the Lich King in Icecrown Citadel! The Frozen Halls dungeon will be spread across three wings of the citadel’s foundation. The epic quest line that Blizz teased us about at Blizzcon has been revealed in better detail, and I have to say it has me quite excited! In this new question, you will fight to weaken the Lich King’s defenses with either Jaina Proudmoore (Alliance) or Sylvanas (Horde). Players will need to defeat the challenges of each dungeon wing before moving onto the next one. Each wing will be a separate instance with different lockout timers, and all will be available in Normal and Heroic difficulties.

The three new dungeons are called The Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron and Halls of Reflection. I’ve put the info from the main announcement below:

The Forge of Souls
Serving as the first wing in this expansive dungeon, the Forge of Souls will quickly put players to the test of carving through the Scourge stronghold into deeper, more treacherous locations. Jaina will command Alliance forces, and Sylvanas will direct Horde forces. The goal is to ruin the twisted engines known as soul grinders found in this portion of the citadel, and then players can advance — that is, if the Horde and Alliance forces can overcome the foes who confront them.

Bosses

Bronjahm, the Godfather of Souls: An instrument of reckoning, Bronjahm watches over the engines in the Forge of Souls. He must be killed if the soul grinders are to be destroyed.

The Devourer of Souls: As the chief operator of the engines found in this wing, the Devourer stands guard over the souls stolen by the Lich King.

Pit of Saron
Accessible only to those who have laid waste to the Forge of Souls’ unholy operations, the Pit of Saron will bring Horde and Alliance forces deeper into the Lich King’s domain. Players who venture here will immediately be confronted by the lord of this lair, Scourgelord Tyrannus. But defeating him will not be as easy as it seems. Before they can present a threat to Tyrannus, the adventurers, instructed by their leaders, will need to free enslaved allies who have been trapped by the Scourge. Until that happens, Tyrannus will leave all adversaries to his minions, workers of the citadel’s mines. Perhaps the challenges here will lend clues as to the whereabouts of the Lich King’s private chambers outside of the Frozen Throne, deep within the Halls of Reflection.

Bosses

Forgemaster Garfrost: A master of Scourge weaponry, the forgemaster hauls stocks of saronite ore and other precious materials to the cold forges where the mechanisms of death are born. With a host of rime weapons and exotic alloys at his disposal, it could get cold in here.

Krick and Ick: Zombies serve as mindless muscle in the Pit of Saron’s mines, stockpiling metals for Forgemaster Garfrost, and Krick — a devious leper gnome — supervises the operations from atop Ick, Krick’s ghastly means of transportation.

Scourgelord Tyrannus: Tyrannus is a terrible force who will no doubt demonstrate his powers to those brave enough to enter the Pit of Saron. The scourgelord must die if players hope to make their way into the third and final wing of this dungeon.

Halls of Reflection
With Jaina and Sylvanas leading the way, adventurers who make it as far as these frigid halls will quickly recognize the weapon that lies ahead: Frostmourne, the corruptive, legendary device of the Lich King himself. The Lich King’s private chambers are within reach, although they may be the death of anyone who ventures there.

Bosses

Falric and Marwyn: Captains for Arthas Menethil in life, Scourge commanders for the Lich King in death, Falric and Marwyn will be summoned to the Halls of Reflection for one purpose: destroying all intruders.

The Lich King: Sylvanas, thirsty for vengeance against the corrupted prince who sentenced her to an existence as an undead monstrosity, and Jaina, eager to find a flicker of Arthas’s soul locked somewhere within the Lich King, have brought their hand-picked allies to this final confrontation. Arthas’s true power may only now be discovered. Is there any hope in this mission, or does only death await?

This sounds like a great encounter to me! I also have to say that this quest line has me very excited as a lore nerd. I’m very interested to see the last encounters in the Halls of Reflection and what plays out with the fight against Arthas. I’m sure that having Sylvanas and Jaina around will make fights interesting. For those who play, what do you think of this latest announcement? Are you excited for this last big patch to be released so we can finally get our hands on Arthas?

Have you been wondering amidst all of this Cataclysm talk “Hey wait a minute… what about the Lich King?” Well the Dungeons and Raids panel finally gave us what we were have been looking forward to: the attack on Icecrown Citadel. And from what they described this is going to be one heck of a fight. There will be the 10-25 man raid against the Lich King, but there will also be three 5-man dungeons for players to go through. Each of these dungeons can be unlocked by doing an epicquestline that will lead you through each of the dungeons.

But the main event will be interesting as to get to the top of the citadel, you will have to race against the opposite faction. In this battle, you will have to defend your zeppelin as well aslaunch attacks on the opposing faction’s zeppelin with the use of rocket packs. If your faction manages to beat the other to the top, you will have access to the raid instance. Once insideIcecrown Citadel, you will be forced to battle 12 different bosses to defeat as you work your way up to the fourth and highest floor of the Citadel whereArthas resides. Blizzard promises that this will be one hell of a battle, and to give us a taste of what to expect they revealed that parts of the platform thatArthas is on will crumble and fall down, and if you fall with one of those pieces it could be very very bad for you.

Abyssal Maw

But along with Icecrown Citadel, we got to hear a little bit about the new dungeons and raids that will be coming in Cataclysm. There will be four new raids (GrimBatol, Skywall, The Firelands, Blackwing Descent), six new dungeons (Grim Batol, Uldum, Deepholme, Skywall, Abyssal Maw, Blackrock Caverns), and two revamped old world dungeons (Deadmines, Shadowfang Keep). With each of these we were treated to the maps of each of them as well as quick preview videos of some of the areas of these new dungeons and raids. One of the more beautiful ones so far in my opinion is the Abyssal Maw which is in the sunken city ofVashj’ir. The brighter colors combined with windows that look out into the ocean around it make it for one beautiful looking instance.

The revamped Onyxia raid for WoW’s 5th anniversary was also touched on, but not much new info was provided. The fight will be similar, and we will still need more DOTs for fighting the brood mother. Blizzard did mention that the 310 speed mount that will drop from the instance will be a “very rare drop,” so make sure your guild is ready for many, many runs before this mount drops. This will also, along with the updated tier armor that one could receive from the originalOnyxia raid, should prove to be the brunt of many ninja looters and loot QQ.

These revamped dungeons and the Onyxia raid are quite an interesting concept, and I’m sure that there are some players who are looking forward to going up against these super charged old world bosses. I was actually able to get a preview of one of them during the LiveWoW Raid that happened on day two of Blizzcon. Top rated raiding guild Premonition (US-Sen’jin) went up against a custom raid that was crafted just for Blizzcon which featured teams of bosses. After defeating Thaddius, Anub’Rehkan and Patchwerk, they moved onto a new area with a lone opponent standing in the middle. It was none other than everyone’s favorite nostalgia boss Hogger. But this Hogger was different from what we originally knew, as this was the beefed up version for the new Heroic Deadmines. So when one of the members went up and shot at Hogger, he stood no chance and was immediately one-shotted. After rezzing, the entire group went to chalenge Hogger and a wipe ensued to the cheers and laughter of the audience. I guess we can no longer joke around about the “LFM Hogger raid!” in trade chat.
