PopCap announces Zuma’s Revenge! launching next Month

PopCap Games is pretty good at keeping secrets. They are announcing today that the sequel to Zuma will be available next month for PC and Mac. Zuma’s Revenge! has high-resolution graphics, new game mechanics, new modes, and new power-ups. In the US, Zuma’s Revenge will be available on September 15 for $19.95. I know we have some hardcore Zuma fans, but for those that don’t know the title, in the game the player takes the role of a ball-shooting frog. By firing colored spheres to make matches of three or more, the frog moves on to different temples or ruins. The sequel will take place in Zhaka Mu. “The original Zuma has millions of fans around the world,” said Jason Kapalka, co-founder and Creative Director at PopCap, “so there was a lot of pressure when doing the sequel to really deliver something they’d love, without wrecking the classic Zuma gameplay.
